EDT | ENCORE Dance Team
ENCORE Dance Team is a heels performance team.
My goal is to form a well rounded group of artists that can morph and adapt with what is needed of them. I have spent the last several years curating a program that includes training in contemporary and heels along with focuses in musicality, performance, staging/formations and an understanding of artist professionalism.
All team members will go through an audition process and have access to preparation class before hand. Once the team is announced, EDT will meet twice a week and have performance opportunities starting SUMMER/FALL 2024.
Preparation class #1 : MAY 23 | 7-8:30PM
Preparation class #2 : MAY 30 | 7-8:30PM
This preparation class is meant to guide you through different choreography that you are likely to see on audition day. Come with a positive and welcoming attitude. We’re all rooting for each other here! Class will start promptly at 7PM. I will do a short warm up and the majority of the class with be spent on choreography.
AUDITIONS WILL BE ON
SATURDAY JUNE 8 FROM 3:30-6PM
MAKE UP AUDTIONS WILL BE ON
WEDNESDAY JUNE 12 FROM 8-10PM
The ENCORE Dance Team (EDT) season will be from June 2024 to December 2024 with select extension through March 2025.
The EDT Dancers will be a well rounded group of 9 – 12 dancers that are proficient in heels technique and contemporary movement. The team will meet two times a week with dates to be determined. Rehearsals will start JUNE 2024. Each EDT dancer makes a commitment to themselves and each other to nurturing their artistic development. You can be authentic knowing you are in a safe space to learn and grow.
There will be a monthly cost of $165 per dancer with commitment from July – March
Your monthly cost with include:
- 14 hours per month of education
- Costumes for performances in the Bay Area
- Studio/rehearsal time
- Quality video recordings
- Being a part of a loving and welcoming team!
EDT team members will have the opportunity to perform and compete on stage*
Team outfit* : shirt, leggings, jacket
Team dance trips* : Los Angeles, Las Vegas, San Diego
Specially designed costumes for traveling performances*
Travel expenses* : all flights, car rentals, hotels, Airbnb’s, vrbos, etc. will be booked as an EDT group in order to save on costs. All team members must travel and lodge with the team in order to perform/compete.
Meal voucher* : Team dinner at the end of every the trip!
